Ray begins a secret relationship with Jemma, leaving an increasingly frustrated Tanya out of the loop. Tanya attempts to keep her pimp hand strong by confronting Jemma at work, but winds up losing her cool and her best client. The second season of Hung came to an end this week. The episode "Even-Steven" didn't exactly leave us with positive thoughts on the series.

There was something novel about the first generation of successful pay cable dramas, “The Sopranos,” and “Six Feet Under,” which were character driven shows about the family dynamics of those involved in unusual professions. The second generation — “Entourage,” “Weeds,” “Dexter,” and “Big Love” — started strong, but with the exception of “Big Love,” their gimmicks have begun to wear out their welcome. The second generation has taught us that gimmicks can only get you so far — the characters have to carry a show past its first year. Indeed, after the novelty wore off, the characters in “Entourage” revealed themselves as the douchezillas we should’ve recognized in the beginning; the characters in “Weeds” have completely lost touch with the people they were in the first couple of seasons; and “Dexter” has lost its momentum because it refuses to stray away from its gimmick, and there’s only so much you can do with a serial killer investigating his own murders before it gets repetitive.

The number one factor that would've made this show extremely - EXTREMELY - much better, would've been a change of actress for the role of Tanya.
This show had massive potential. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent and sometimes very entertaining show, however, certain factors ruin what could have been an extraordinary show. The number one factor that would've made this show extremely - EXTREMELY - much better, would've been a change of actress for the role of Tanya. She is annoying, embarrassing and quite frankly a very horribly planned character.

Because desperate times call for desperate measures, the well-endowed Ray decides to exploit his best asset in a lastditch attempt to change his fortunes.

"Hung Season 2 was a little bit of a downer, because I get divorced, and we deal with some somber subject matter. With Hung Season 3, we really get back to fucking. Its younger, its faster, its funnier. This year, Ray has decided to have some fun. With Hung Season 3, the economy still sucks. But its boring to wallow in misery, with no money. So, we have taken Ray and put him in a whole new place where he is not teaching anymore. He is whoring full time. He is making a lot of money. He buys a new car. He has fixed up his house. Then a younger gigolo comes into the picture, and starts stealing his clients. Ray has to defend his turf. We've really had a lot of fun with the show this year. We have a lot of terrific actresses on the show this season. Like Kaitlin Doubleday. She has a great arc on the show. There are some really good, younger women that come on the show this year. Its good. They get to do stuff with me. So it's a blast. It's my favorite season, Hung Season 3."
